This piece is a continuation of the series involved with the collaboration with the Plant Diagnostic Center at the University of Florida.
Fuligo Septica represents one of the forms of research located at this lab. This painting is part of a series that focuses on getting the attention of the viewer to focus on what we may not notice in life but has a major impact on our environment. There is an odd sense of beauty in these diseases of flora and fauna, however, their presence is fatal on the environment we rely on.
The two paintings below, Botrytis Cinerea and Citrus Kanker, are also a part of this series.
