In collaboration with the director of the Plant Diagnostic Center at the University of Florida, Citrus Kanker represents one of the forms of research located at this lab. This painting is part of a series that focuses on getting the attention of the viewer to focus on what we may not notice in life but has a major impact on our environment. There is an odd sense of beauty in these diseases of flora and fauna, however, their presence can be fatal on the environment we rely on.
