It's fair to say that my love for collage and intertwining different elements of my work is continuously evolving. I started working on this piece by focusing on the shapes of the portrait and using organic forms to depict it. This led to me think of how nature is also comprised of various pieces as well. From colors to shapes, these bits and pieces create a larger picture in front of us.

I've always had a love for incorporating my art in everyday things and this piece exemplifies just that. I used acrylic paint markers to create the intricate detail throughout this piece. I also wanted the blue gradient in the background to peek through the work as I found it like an homage to the laptop case I was working off of.
These risograph prints were created as a takeaway for guests during my senior group exhibition. The design is a good representation of the different elements showcased in the work I've been developing throughout my senior year at university.

These were some of the composition studies I created before working on this project.
