At the time this piece was done I was almost done completing my undergraduate studies which led to me feeling a mix of emotions. I wanted to translate those emotions into the final work of my senior year. As I've focused on florals and their meanings throughout my pieces, I chose to incorporate morning glories and sweet peas. Morning glories are defined, when given, to provide the others with the strength they need to pursue their dreams. Blue morning glories symbolize deep heartfelt emotions which I've been experiencing at a time that nears closer to my graduation. Sweet peas are associated with departures and goodbyes. Sweet Morning, is a work that embodies my growing curiosity about our relationship with nature but on a personal level of my own emotions.
